Goal:






Domestic Violence in Central Asia
is a reflective collection of narratives, informational data, original ideas, guidelines and images–all choreographed around expressive typography and applied to a 9.5 x 11 inch large scale publication.The publication reinforces this piece as a catalyst for change through clearly designed and presented information and guidelines.


Audience:



This publication is meant to target those underestimating the gravity of Domestic Violence. By raising awareness and fostering vocal opposition, the publication aims to catalyze stronger advocacy efforts against domestic violence, ultimately pressuring governments to establish safer environments for women.


Process:

Draft 1







The main goal for the first draft was to design the pages 2-5 and finalize the main concept and the elements of the Publication, including font families and colors.



Draft 2


Next step was to refine the original spreads, and start drafting the front and back covers. The goal for the back cover is to call for action and inform the viewer about the ways they can make a change. 




Final Design:




The final design consists of 4 spreads(8 pages), including the front and back covers.
